Livvy, that is NOT a good place to hide! (But then, it could be I am jealous because the washer and dryer here are in the garage, where I am NOT allowed to go!)

You're welcome for the award, and am happy to see that you've passed it along so quickly (unlike me who napped fo a month before getting around to it). You chose a lot of great blogs, some of which I visit regularly. BTW, my human looks forward to reading about more home renovating as the weather improves!

I do not blame her. Not one bit. Hobbes has been going out all winter--snow and all. I think they just want to get away from us.

Are you completely insane, do you realize that the worst blight in our country are feral cats and feral pigs!!! They both destroy our enviornment, kill millions of native songbirds and other native wildlife, breed out of control, interbreed with wildcats and carry all kinds of disease! Our winter months actually help by keeping the populations down. To create a place to help them continue to starve and die a horrible death isn't helping at all.
If you really wish to help get a humane trap and trap them. Some of them could possibly be rehomed but I doubt it. At least you will help rid of of this blight.
It is horrable that animals that man has released into the wild have to suffer. If you truly wish to help go to your local shelter and adopt a healthy animal that truly stands a chance if it has a home.
Seemingly great ideas sometimes are totally misguided by misinformation!!
