It’s been awhile, but the temperatures have finally been chilly enough to send her snuggling. Whwre could she be?

She’s at it again…
She’s been very clingy lately. If I work at the desk, she plants her furry behind in front of my monitor. If I go to my laptop, she is determined to curl her 13-pound body around my neck. GAH!
We are thinking of getting another kitty, as a companion for Livvy. I think she’d do well. She tries to befriend the Yorkies, but they just want to run around the house and pee on things. That’s just not her style, lol. More to come. Finding a Siamese kitten is a difficult job, indeed!

Apple DEVICES, that is. 🙁 Look at that guilty face!
She has chewed through FOUR of my Apple iPad and iPhone charging cables. BAD kitty! Here I am charging my device, and she’s sneaking up to get at it. SO bad!

She’s not a baby anymore! *sniff*
Everything was crammed into the corner as we are working on the bookcase units. She just loves the excitement, and always has to be “in” on the activity. I have no idea why she crawled underneath her cardboard scratchy-toy-thingy. She actually got stuck, believe it or not! LOL
The project is coming along, slooooowly. It’s not very fun, sawing and hammering in a finished living room. The dust goes everywhere and the sawdust gets into the area rug. I think we’re do for one of those fancy
“round rock texas upholstery cleaning” jobs, too.
Well, it must be done. I still have to build our little fireplace/mantel unit before it gets too cold. The summer just flew by!

She absolutely loved it under the fabric. Not sure why, maybe she wanted to “be” where we were. It was very difficult to get anything done with her inside the reams of cloth! When I plopped some extra fabric on the floor, she ignored it. Go figure.
Have a happy weekend, friends!

The walls and window trim is all painted, ans we’re preparing to build the bookcases. Livvy wants in on the fun:
Unfortunately, she gets her kitty hair everywhere! OUT!

Oh, she’s such a sly little thing. Where oh where can she be?!
The towel was slightly damp and it’s been hotter than blazes around here, so no wonder she didn’t want to come out.
Sorry I haven’t been doing much here lately. We’ve been traveling and I’ve been working a lot. But we’ve got some very exciting renovations and remodeling planned next week. I’m going to re-do my living room decor and finally build the 17-foot long, built-in bookcase set. It’s my first bookcase, so it’ll be interesting. We’re also sewing curtains and going to paint the room with a more shocking color scheme. Cant wait til its done!

Oh they grow up SO fast!
Actually, I don’t know when her birthday is, exactly. We got her in September, and her owner said she was 8 weeks old, which makes her birthday week this week. I figured today is a good a birthday as any, especially since it’s mine, too.
I chose her from the litter because she was the “runt,” and she was quieter than her crazy sister and brothers. After taking her home, however, she quickly became Queen of the Castle. I think perhaps the reason she was so small and quiet in the litter is because she didn’t get enough to eat. Once we plied her with roast beef and fish and canned cat food, she quickly became more energetic.
She is a very unusual kitty. Besides being a polydactyl Tabby Point Siamese, she has a unique personality. She follows me around the house all day long like a little dog. She “talks” to us in squeaks and pulses, and she knows a lot of words and responds to them. She’s less of a pet and more like a family member. She’s the most unique cat I have ever had.
Happy Birthday to my Baby. 🙂
