My yews are, um, a BIT overgrown. My excuse is that it’s been raining cats and dogs and we haven’t had a chance to clip them. but the real reason is that I’m TERRIBLE at pruning shrubs. I leave the job to the husband, but lately he’s been working 6 to 7 days a week. The extra dough is so very nice, but the yard is a disaster, lol.
ANYWAY… can you find the kitty?

:) I’m a married mom of four teenage children. We live in Upstate New York. We bought an old 1855 home and acre property, over 10 years ago. We've been in the slow, agonizing process of living in the home while (trying) to renovate it. When I'm not renovating, I'm a freelance writer and blogger.
We've learned to dig a French drain, plant huge flower and vegetable gardens, wire a circuit panel, install furnace ducting, understand the enigmatic complexities of the plumbing system, and more. It's been *quite* the adventure.

Livvy is in the window, wishing she was outside. Happy Mother’s Day.

Let’s hope she doesn’t go through the screen lol
When I was in another duplex I had a sliding screen door and had it open and the pointer decided she wanted to go after a squirrel and took the screen door with her lol

Well, at least the kitty can see over them!
The yard is always full of work this time of year. Ugh. I’ve got never-ending jobs that need to be done too and not enough time.

She’s in the window! I didn’t even know she was there until after I looked at the photo on my computer!
