Forget the meaningless Ides of March, today is the Ides of April. TAX DAY. I’m so glad the feds extended the deadline. Good thing. We’re up to our eyeballs in paperwork (still). Which reminds me of this week’s Find the Kitty:
Sorry posts have been slim. I haven’t been in a gardening or renovating mood just yet. I’m sure it will happen soon. It had BETTER happen soon. I haven’t even ordered garden seeds yet! :-O

:) I’m a married mom of four teenage children. We live in Upstate New York. We bought an old 1855 home and acre property, over 10 years ago. We've been in the slow, agonizing process of living in the home while (trying) to renovate it. When I'm not renovating, I'm a freelance writer and blogger.
We've learned to dig a French drain, plant huge flower and vegetable gardens, wire a circuit panel, install furnace ducting, understand the enigmatic complexities of the plumbing system, and more. It's been *quite* the adventure.

I see the kitty!!! I have my seeds but haven’t started them and I’m just not in the mood. 15 last night, more snow in the forecast and I feel as though winter will never end
