Yep, she’s STILL playing with the kraft paper! It’s terrific stuff, I’m telling you.
Well, I was tired of seeing all this paper lying around the living room floor (I got another package, and HOH BOY did we have a paper party), so this morning I scooped it all up and tossed it. She wasn’t too sad about it. She now has a mouse toy with wheels (if you scoot the wheels back, the mouse goes zipping across the floor) that she’s been batting around. It’s noisy, too– so she likes to play with it up and down the stairs. ALL. NIGHT. LONG. She’s been a bundle of energy this week. Or maybe she’s sick of being cooped up in the house surrounded by mounds and mounds of snow, like the kids are. haha
Back to the paper, why don’t they make paper bags for groceries anymore? I liked them. I do not like the plastic bags at all. They rip, they tear, they are noisy… I always found so many uses for paper bags, but they are no more to be found.

We've learned to dig a French drain, plant huge flower and vegetable gardens, wire a circuit panel, install furnace ducting, understand the enigmatic complexities of the plumbing system, and more. It's been *quite* the adventure.

I actually bought the recyclable bags and use those instead of the plastic ones if I remember :/ My grocery store still has some paper bags if someone requests them.

I tried the recyclable bags, but I NEVER remember to take them to the store. Plus, I think I’d need about 50 of them, because I buy for 6 people and 5 pets and go only every two weeks to the store.
I miss the paper bags because I can reuse them for so many things…. I doubt WalMart would have any, but maybe the smaller store do. One store doesn’t even HAVE bags– they have junky old stock boxes and you have to pack everything yourself!

I miss the paper bags too but the plastic ones must be cheaper to make. I hate them too.

Oh, gees—I have NO idea where she is!!
I have some of those recycled bags, but I always forget to bring them in the store with me!!! ARrrggghhh!
