Apologies to all of Livvy’s ardent fans. Photos and stories of my darling Tabby Point Siamese have been few and far between, haven’t they? Well, Livvy was pestering helping me on my desk the other day, and I thought, “What a great time for a photo op!”
The Princess was not amused.
I have really got to learn how to use this camera better. She is so photogenic, but my pictures turn out rather poorly. She hates the flash (the reason for her sourpuss face is because she’s anticipating the flash), so I try not to use it.
Watching my pet cockatiel flutter in his cage. She would just love to get her polydactly paws on him.
Dusty whiskers. Wonder what she was into….
*Le sigh.* Still waiting for Mom to put the camera down.

Don’t any cats go walking on tin roofs or metal buildings this week.. it’s a SCORCHER out there. I have definitely got to get this cat a Furminator someday… she must be steaming hot under all that fur. Lord knows, she’s shedding enough of it. :-p

My cats don’t care for the flash either so I generally turn it off. The Furminator works great and my pets like it! I have a post about it scheduled for next week in fact.

Photographic kitties is actually not that easy! I try to use the flash sparingly, or as fill, since cats looks best in natural light anyhow. You get a lot of nice shots of Livvy… even if she sometimes chooses to be a testy model!

I know that look (ref. 6th shot) where the turns down and back. It seems to say, “We are not pleased.” At least Livvy is only doing that with one ear–not both. I find it hard to get good shots of Midnight without flash. He is so dark that he looks like The Shadow.

Oh we think those pictures of Livvy are purrfect. It is so much fun to see lots of pictures of her. Now we really know what she looks like. Thanks for putting those on.
