Well, she’s so big now, not terribly inconspicuous…
… if ONLY she could help fold the stuff… *sigh*
I did finally take her out yesterday, the little rascal. She was a monster– driving us nuts with her caterwauling and moping around the house. So she got some fresh air, and managed to avoid all the poop piles left by the neighbor dogs (all the snow is melting and we are realizing how much that stupid dog defecates in our yard, YIKES- they are in serious need of Anilox cleaner, ykwim). When she finally got in the house, SHE was the pooped one and promptly fell asleep. Hurrah! I did get some work done.
In other news, I got quite the surprise yesterday: Sparkle the Designer Cat gave us an award! The Superior Scribbler Award!
I am totally stunned. Stunned that such a glamorous kitty like Sparkle would READ– let alone award– my blog; and secondly because this blog does seem to be more about my kitties than about home renovating, these days! The obvious response to that is, well, we haven’t been renovating! During the winter, we huddle in the house, working on school work and me writing for my online jobs. Come spring and summer, we will be pretty busy, though. But Livvy will still be a main character. 
Well, despite the fact that I don’t “do” award blog posts, I’ll do this one. Cuz Sparkle is special. And she has really, really sharp claws.
On with the award. The rules are as follows:
1. Each Superior Scribbler (S.S.) must pass the Award onto 5 most deserving blogger friends.
2. Each S.S. must link the author and name of the blog from whom he/she received the award.
3. Each S.S. must display the award on his/her blog and link to this post, which explains the award.
4. Each S.S. who wins is asked to visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List so they can keep up-to-date on everyone who receives The Prestigious Honor. (I think this refers to the very original post back in 2008, and the Mclinky list is so long — over 1300 names! — that I don’t think you can add any more.)
5. Each S.S. must post these rules on his/her blog.
It’s really, really tough to narrow it down to merely five people… I’m just going to rave a little here and we’ll see how things develop.
First, my daughter has a blog, and it’s a marvelous blog. It’s called As in a Mirror, and it turns out she’s QUITE the superior scribbler. So I deem the award to her. And my son, who has never received an award because he’s a relatively new blogger– and a good one at that– gets the award, at The Brick Buster. Also, I love SO many, many blogs. All these people are superior scribblers! Because they happen to comment here (and their comments are just as witty here as their own blogs are), I nominate them all. Be sure to check them all out:

Lin’s Duck and Wheel with String with her adorable Hobbes (and I like Grace, too). Lin is a great writer in her own right, too.
Chuck and Secondary Roads is insightful and every one of his posts is so thoughtful. Or funny. Or both!
One Cat’s Nip which is a hilarious “cat blog” and has great photos! (I love cat photos).
Karen has a new blog named Kreated by Karen that is really beautiful! It’s a place where she showcases her sewing works, and everything she does is so beautiful.

Livvy, that is NOT a good place to hide! (But then, it could be I am jealous because the washer and dryer here are in the garage, where I am NOT allowed to go!)
You’re welcome for the award, and am happy to see that you’ve passed it along so quickly (unlike me who napped fo a month before getting around to it). You chose a lot of great blogs, some of which I visit regularly. BTW, my human looks forward to reading about more home renovating as the weather improves!

And like Sparkle, please don’t hide in the dryer. Sometimes the humans don’t know you are in there, and turn the darn thing on.
