Unfortunately, we did not get the Tempupedic foundation set when we got our Tempurpedic mattress. Our foundation set is manufactured by "Sugar." We are SUPPOSED to have a 10-year warranty on manufacturer defects but the furniture store refuses to keep replacing our foundation twice a year, since it appears that Sugar will not improve their design (to my knowledge). To alleviate the noise and provide more support, we placed a piece of 1/2-inch foam board insulation between the foundation and the mattress. This helps somewhat. Contacted the company told them the issue and provided copy of the receipt. They weren't fast but eventually they had brand new box springs shipped to us a no cost. Research reports in late 2010 are saying that the springs you are laying on all night are main reason Americans have such high incidence of breast cancer. Due to the springs acting as unintentional radio/tv/cell phone etc. antennas and concentrating an intense array of cancer causing signals. Just something I read. Seems logical. Mine 2.5 yrs old. No inspector, just paperwork and photos to be sent to tempurpedic. I feel a war coming on....Mattress Firm directed me to Tempurpedic. It takes the joy out of a nice mattress when all I hear when my husband or I move is squeeking!!!!!! I can't stand it!!!!!!
