    So funny and very true! Lucky for me property taxes in Utah are very low, though.

    I wish it wasn’t true, but sadly, I agree with Steven. Our house has lost its value by $10K. Terrible.

    No kidding on the tax accessor part. I can’t even sell my house at a short sale price (way below what I paid for it) thanks to the economy but the tax accessor seems to think the fair market value is more than I paid for it. Nice.
