Well, you asked for it!
More snow photos. I know you people in the South just love to look at these photos. As for us in the North, well…. it’s still really nice. Until Februrary; then it gets pretty old.
So what a difference a day makes!
This I took yesterday, just as the lake effect snows started to kick in.
And this I took this morning, just as the lake effect is starting to wane.
In my opinion, it’s still not a whole lot of snow. (But I am quite biased, because I don’t have to shovel it). We probably have about 6 inches.
I really like days like these. It’s so cozy here at home. The kids are working on their lessons, I have a pot roast simmering all day (driving the cat beserk), I’m catching up on the laundry, and I hope to get some baking in today, too.

That does sound like an ideal day. We got at most a scant inch.

That pot roast would be driving me crazy as well; I love the smell! Sounds like a perfect day for me, except the laundry part. We are expecting about 3 inches tonight, IF the weather people are right. This probably means that it will be warm and sunny:)

A roast is good on a cold day when you have snow to watch fall.
Love it when you post snow pics.

FINALLY! Someone who agrees with me that after about February the snow starts getting old! The worst thing about WNY is that snow starts in November (though there’s the occasional visit in October—I live 50 miles or so from Buffalo
), and can go as late as March and sometimes even April! UGH!
You’ve got a lot of guts, though, trying to fix up that house! I dream of at least owning a house—I don’t know how we’d be able to fix one up (which is totally a possibility around here too…in WNY…a more rural than no part of it
)

You are right, us folks down south do like to look at those snow pictures. lol…
The pot roast sounds good.
I just have to throw in though, it was 79 degrees yesterday and 73 today. I know, I’ll pay for it next week.
Have a great day.

That’s what it looks like here today in Indiana. We don’t usually get it this bad until January but we are getting hit hard already. Have a great Wednesday.
