New York Renovator

I bought one of those huge exercise rubber balls, to aid in my at-home physical therapy sessions for my ailing back. Years ago, I’d seen these big balls at my physical therapist’s. I can’t express the utter, utter relief of laying across one of these balls. It was the only thing that really brought comfort because it completely removed all pressure from my spine. Ahhh.

So I bought one! And a good price, too– $13 at Amazon. It’s called the Valeo Body Ball (75 cm). I got the big size, 75cm diameter. Came with an air pump, too!

My boys think it is a terrific toy. They were running all around with it, bouncing and sitting on it. They were so funny that we snapped some photos.

You know, I’m going to have to wrench the thing away from the boys in order to use it now. Might as well get them one of their own, lol!

Wow, awards are everywhere on the blogs these days! My shelf is getting pretty full of trophies. I recently got three more by three great bloggers!

This award, the I Love Your Blog Award, is one of my favorites. It was given to me by The House that Koen & Claire (re)Built– a great blog! They are doing a lot of what we are doing, with home improvements. Well, what we WERE doing. What we HOPE to be doing again sometime soon. Anyway, here’s the lovely award:

It’s neat, because I was going to give this award to Koen & Claire if I got it here. They got it first! Check out their blog, they’re doing a great job on their house. They are from Belgium, by the way, so I find it fascinating to see their techniques and European methods of renovation.

And then I got the award again, this time by Carol at A Second Cup. She runs a terrific, godly-woman blog– witty and wise. Thank you so much, Carol. I am so honored that you like my little ol’ blog here. And I appreciate your very poignant posts.

And then I got another award! Mize over at My Country Home gave me this one! Isn’t it purdy?

Mize has a great blog. she’s from Portugal; and it’s amazing, learning about the culture there. Check it out, there’s a lot to enjoy.

I’m going to refrain from naming new winners at this time. I’ve done quite a few on my other blogs. Plus, I’m a little under the weather and I’d just like to lay here and simply bask in the awards limelight for a while. lol .
