Laughter is the Best Nutrition

blogging

I was Entrecard dropping when I came across a great blog, The Snack Hound. This blogger is just so hilarious! Sometimes we can take “nutrition” and “fitness” a little to far, can’t we? This post was especially rip-roarin’ good. Here’s a tidbit.

For those of you who watch what you eat, here’s the final word on nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION

Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

ROFL!!!!!

You really should go to the post yourself and see what fun is there. But I cannot restrain from posting the ones I found absolutely hilarious. Here are some “fitness” questions answered by a “fitness expert”:

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! ‘Round’ is a shape!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Pardon me, now, I’m going to laugh a second time by reading these to the family! Who needs Phentermine without a prescription when some big belly laughs will exercise that gut!

LOL!!! This is a good one! :D

But I would think that it isn’t necessarily speaking English that kills you (although the conclusion makes for a good gut-bustin’ laugh!); Japanese is a MUCH more complicated language, isn’t it?

I think that is the IRS that kills people. They don’t have that in other countries.

    Funny! :gtin: :gin:

The reason I guess is that Americans are more generous and serve a great amount compared to Japanese. There’s no free soda at fast food restaurants in Japan. No way of refilling it for free here. First of all, the cup is a lot smaller from the beginning! (LOL)

BTW, I’d like to ask you a question.
Why American people (men) do small house renovation by themselves? They paint, they fix waterworks, and so, in the U.S DO-IT-YOURSELF is a lot more familiar than in Japan. We normally ask for a professional for anything. Is this because it’s too expensive to pay for pros?
