Wordless Wednesday: Waiting

blogging

cartoon from www.weblogcartoons.com

That cartoon expresses how I feel these days, lol. I’m complaining that I have a home renovation blog, and I’m not renovating! :(

I wish I could say we are renovating right now… but I can’t. We’re in a lull, as rising cost-of-living prices and job problems have swallowed up my savings and burst my bubble. I’ve got some ideas in the works, though. :D More on that later. For now, I leave you to ponder the wonders of Air O Swiss humidifiers.

Uhh, I have the same feeling sometimes too. Then I am sitting next to the cats and ask them “You don’t wanna do anything funny I can write about?”

Don’t get in over your head renovating. Keep the finances in order and only focus on “break fix” work until you are in a better financial situation. Break fix work is just critical things (plumbing leaks, roof leaks, etc) If the broken thing will cost more money to leave unfixed then fix it. You get the idea.

The TV shows would have us all believe that we all need to live in perfect homes with designer touches. Our parents sure didn’t. People lived much more simple in the past. They made do with what they had. My mother didn’t even have indoor plumbing until she was a teen!

Once you get things in order and back on the renovating let the Handyguys know if we can offer any advice on your DIY projects.

    Good luck and take care

    Hi there,
I am a Red Drop also. I just grabbed this list that loads all of us over at Marzie’s place.

I thought perhaps I could make you feel a little better.

I am riding and trying to blog while traveling cross country in our big truck.

It’s like trying to type while hanging upside down on a roller coaster that is also bouncing everywhere.

And I am in the back with a signal from Sprint that comes and goes.

And you know what else? I too have no clue what I have to blog about for tomorrow’s post.

Anddd….we are headed from Texas to California and will soon be out in the middle of no where.

Therefore, I probably will not have a post tomorrow.

So I am bouncing around back here doing drops.

Feel any better now? I hope so. Oh happy days!!:-)

That cartoon speaks of what all bloggers go thru..:D

Sometimes, waiting is good. You never know what good stuff may just pop up for you to blog.

You could always renovate your blog and post about that … if your blog didn’t look so darn good already. :)

That is too bad. Hopefully things will pick up and you will get to start re-doing again.

Would you check my grammar on this post?

I don’t know what the plural of circus is with the way I used it in my sentence. Thanks.

Wow, it seems a lot of us are always hunting for “blogger fodder” as I call it, LOL!

Rodney, you are SUCH a flatterer! ;)

Thanks, folks, for your words of encouragement. Here’s hoping for good success!
