Here’s an interesting website I’ve found, Handyguys Podcast. I am not “into” podcasts, but I like the website. It runs like a blog, but has articles. Most of them are “how to know if” and other preparation articles. I like to have my own little list of websites to refer to when I need second opinions (and third and fourth). I look forward to seeing more of this site develop.

:) I’m a married mom of four teenage children. We live in Upstate New York. We bought an old 1855 home and acre property, over 10 years ago. We've been in the slow, agonizing process of living in the home while (trying) to renovate it. When I'm not renovating, I'm a freelance writer and blogger.
We've learned to dig a French drain, plant huge flower and vegetable gardens, wire a circuit panel, install furnace ducting, understand the enigmatic complexities of the plumbing system, and more. It's been *quite* the adventure.

Thanks for the plug! We are finding are groove for what we can and can’t do in a blog/podcast. We respond to every question we get and use some ‘on the air’. The closest we did to a step by step DIY guide was on window repair and toilet troubleshooting. Not too glamorous but some of our more popular episodes. Our how to finish your basement series will wrap up soon and by necessity is more ‘how to know if’ and things to consider. If you have any questions just fire away. We do interviews as well.
